I’m Jenny, a branding photographer in Virginia. Recently, I collaborated with Samantha Brior, the amazing owner of Safe Sam’s. Her brand photoshoot story is incredible. Samantha has a background in skincare and a huge heart for helping others. Now, she’s creating a lip care line that’s good for you and the planet! A big part of the profits will go towards helping people recovering from eating disorders buy new clothes and groceries. It’s a kind and much-needed initiative.
Capturing Safe Sam’s Essence
Samantha wanted to refresh her brand with a new set of photos that captured the essence of her business. Her business can be described as upscale yet relatable, fresh, inspiring, trustworthy, and compassionate. Additionally, we wanted the images to showcase not only her upcoming lip care line but also her coaching services, books, and overall brand personality.
For the shoot, we brought in the talented Amanda Moran (@AmandaMoranArtistry) for hair and makeup. Samantha rocked a beautiful 1940s-inspired look, complete with a bold lip that perfectly complemented her brand colors (periwinkle blue, rose gold, and natural tones). Michelle from @sheworewhat_lifestyle worked her magic on wardrobe, creating three stunning outfits that blended Samantha’s love for vintage style with a modern edge. We shot in the studio, allowing for complete control over lighting and creating a clean, polished aesthetic.
The final images are a fantastic mix of headshots, lifestyle shots showcasing Samantha interacting with her products, and creative compositions highlighting her artwork and books. These new visuals will be a game-changer for Safe Sam’s, giving her website and social media a fresh, professional look that truly reflects her brand values.
